I have worked professionally full time in the film industry since 2014 in an array of diverse capacities.

From 2014-2020, I created, built and Directed a documentary film distribution enterprise called ‘Films For Change’. We distributed dozens of documentaries in 90 towns and cities across Aus, NZ, the UK and the US using a unique business model which I devised to great success.

In 2020, due to the global health crisis, we evolved into a streaming platform - www.filmsforchange.stream which is an SVOD platform available worldwide. A bit like Netflix but devoted entirely to documentaries. I sold this enterprise in 2025 and it continues to grow and develop under the direction of its now Director.

In 2021, I Directed, Co-Produced and wrote the documentary ‘THE TRUST FALL: JULIAN ASSANGE’. Released in 2023, We raised over $300,000 via crowdfunding and another $200,000 via private investors to make this elaborate and ambitious film.

The film had remarkable success in cinemas, By mid 2024 it was the highest grossing documentary of the year in cinemas in Australia. It was picked up by major chains including Event, Village, Hoyts, Dendy and ODEON cinemas. The film was shown in approx 400 cinemas and grossed over $300,000USD in cinemas. It was also shown to millions of people by RT (a satellite TV station) across Africa, The Middle East and other countries. We recruited celebrity narrators Susan Sarandon, Roger Waters, Tom Morello and M.I.A. I obtained over 100 media interviews to promote the film - including seven TV interviews. It is now available to view on Apple TV, Youtube Movies, Google Play and other platforms.

Since 2025 I have continue to promote the film on a daily basis to drive continuing viewership.

In 2026 I began offering my services as a consultant to the film industry, so that I can share my valuable experience and insights, and assist others in their projects.

My experience in the industry is wide and diverse. Through Films For Change I gained an intricate knowledge of distribution to cinemas, digital marketing, film selection and learnt a lot about the importance of choosing a powerful and universal topic in order for a documentary to have a large potential, and how crucial it is to create a stirring trailer, poster and synopsis to carry the film and give it wide appeal. In my work in the streaming industry, I learn about licensing, digital asset organisation, online marketing and how to build and retain subscribers.

My experience with Directing, Co-Producing, Writing, distributing, publicing and marketing THE TRUST FALL was a profound and completely end-to-end journey where I was completely hands on and directing every aspect of the project from start to finish. Not only did I Direct, write and Co-Produce the film, I funded it, promoted it and distributed it. This gives me a very unique and rare insight into virtually the entire industry and an ability to give general advice on all angles of this complex and challenging field, and also specific highly effective strategies that I have used to great success myself.
